Article: Walking in Peace When the World Feels Unsteady

Walking in Peace When the World Feels Unsteady
There’s no denying it—something feels different right now.
The world is louder. Faster. More uncertain.
Everywhere we turn, there’s another headline, another pressure, another reason to feel unsettled.
And yet… in the middle of it all, there is an invitation.
Not to escape.
Not to strive harder.
Not to figure everything out.
But to enter into peace.
Not the kind of peace the world offers—the temporary, circumstantial kind that disappears as quickly as it comes—but the kind that is rooted in a Person.
Jesus.
He is still the Prince of Peace.
And His peace is not fragile. It is not shaken by what shakes us.
“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you… Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27)
Peace Is Not Passive—It’s Pursued
Walking in peace doesn’t happen by accident.
It’s something we learn. Something we choose. Something we return to again and again.
It looks like:
-
Turning our thoughts back to Him when anxiety rises
-
Pausing in the middle of a busy day to breathe and remember His presence
-
Letting His truth speak louder than fear
Peace becomes a rhythm. A lifestyle. A way of living anchored in Him instead of reacting to everything around us.
Creating Space for Peace in Everyday Life
Over the past season, this has been at the center of my heart—
not just teaching about peace, but helping people experience it daily.
Because let’s be honest… most of us don’t need more information.
We need practical ways to slow down, reconnect, and abide.
That’s part of what led us to create what we’re now calling the Tholi Systems of Peace.
They’re simple, intentional ways to build moments of peace into your everyday life—whether you’re at home, on the go, or just trying to find stillness in the middle of a full day.
Right now, we’ve made them available at 25% off for a short time, simply to invite people into experiencing what it feels like to intentionally create space for peace again.
Not as a solution—but as a support.
Because true peace will always be found in Him.
You’re Not Meant to Walk This Alone
Another thing I’ve been sensing strongly is this:
We’re not meant to pursue this walk in isolation.
There’s something powerful about walking alongside others who are also seeking the Lord, growing in their faith, and learning to hear His voice.
That’s why I recently launched a new Facebook page—a space to:
-
Share daily discipleship teachings
-
Encourage one another in the Word
-
Grow together in hearing and following Jesus
If you’ve been longing for community, for consistency, or just a place to be encouraged in your walk, I would love for you to join us there.
A Deeper Invitation: Be Preserved Blameless
At the beginning of this year, I released a Bible study called Preserved Blameless.
It’s rooted in 1 Thessalonians 5:23—
a call to be made whole in spirit, soul, and body as we prepare for the Lord.
This study isn’t just about learning—it’s about transformation.
It’s about:
-
Understanding how God created you
-
Allowing Him to do a deeper work within you
-
Becoming a dwelling place for His presence
If you’re feeling stirred to go deeper in your walk right now, this is a powerful place to start. You can download it for free, or order a print copy to take notes while you watch and jump in. Or - form a small group and do it with others as you spur each other on in greater inward transformation in preparation of Jesus’ soon coming!
A Final Encouragement
No matter what is happening around you…
You are not without peace.
You are not without hope.
And you are not without His presence.
The invitation is still open:
Come closer.
Abide.
Walk with Him.
And as you do… you’ll begin to discover something beautiful:
Peace isn’t something you chase.
It’s Someone you carry.
Much love,
Rachel
